On behalf of the staff at Lost Spur we would like to welcome you and your junior golfer. The goal of this league is intended to create a fun and competitive tour for golfer who want more out of the game. We will be introducing the players to some basic formats, golf rules, etiquette, and an understanding and appreciation for competitive golf.
In the best interests and safety of all players involved, we will expect proper behavior on the golf course as well as around the clubhouse areas. If any circumstances of misconduct arise the player in question may forfeit his/her round for the day and possibly the season.
Weekly Registration:
Parents or league players will be responsible for calling the golf shop by 3:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon to sign up for that Wednesday. Special requests for playing partners can be made, but may not all be able to be granted.
Play:
Play each week will begin promptly at 8:30am with a “shot-gun” start. Please have your junior here by 8:15 to receive hole assignment and play format information. Following play winners in each age group will be determined and prizes will be given out the following week. With the prize format and point totals explained below, we must treat each week as a separate tournament. Therefore, there will be no "make-up" times for those league players that miss a day.
Awards:
Each week gift cards will be awarded to the top individuals in each age group, or the top team in each age group. There will also be random special events such as fewest putts, closest to the pin, etc..
Weekly winners will also gain points toward season-end prizes. Weekly points are as follows: 1st place – 3 pts / 2nd place – 2 pts / 3rd place – 1 pt.
Given this format, regular attendance may not matter in accumulating points. There is a $60.00 initiation fee, which covers prizes, and a season ending awards banquet where a grand prize will be awarded to the point total winner from each age group. Second and third place point winners will also receive prizes.
Parents are encouraged to attend if they wish.

The age groups are as follows: 8-10, 11-12, and 13-16.
Total cost $60.00 includes 10/11 events, and prizes. Green fee $12.00 per event
