WP Golf Institute at Oak Marsh Golf Club
I. The Facility
Home of the WP Golf Institute, Oak Marsh Golf Club is located just east of St. Paul 1 mile east of the beltway. The 18-hole golf course has a first class practice and golf facility. Along with a 300-yard driving range with elevated hitting greens/bunkers, we offer 3 practice bunkers, 3 tee boxes, 4 putting greens, 3 short game areas, and a fully stocked golf shop.
II. Private Lessons - Daryl Smoliak: Teaching Professional
Oak Marsh is also the home base for 2003 Minnesota PGA teacher of the year Steve Whillock (see bio). If you're looking for a great way to improve your game the private lesson is your quickest path. The interview process, physical evaluation, goal setting, mental approach, and video analysis are all parts of the private lesson. Many students leave with a game plan on how to improve the shot worked on and a video of their swing. Check the different types of lessons below to fit your need:

III. WP Clinics
The WP Golf clinics are one of the most popular and cost effective ways to improve your golf game. Usually in a relaxed an informal setting, these group lessons start with an indoor 10-minute theory covering the basics of set up and swing. Then the class works their way outside for practical application on the facility. Proper technique, distance control, and bad lies are all covered in this 60-minute session.

IV. Junior Golf
Junior golf is a very important part of the Institute. Not just because we enjoy working with juniors, but also because they are the future of the Institute! Our goal for the future is to create an atmosphere of learning and playing for fun and if desired, competing. In addition to enjoying the game, the future amateur or professional may very well come out of the Institute.
