Wendell Pittenger Receives Two Awards

Wendell Pittenger
LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD A special Life Achievement Award was made to Wendell Pittenger, of Wendell Pittenger Golf Operations. The Board of Directors of Midwest Golf Course Owners Association honored Wendell for his many years of service and leadership in the business of public golf. The award was presented at the MWGCOA Conference at the Prom Center in Oakdale, MN by long-standing friend, owner of Ridges at Sand Creek, and Past MWGCOA President Mike Malone.

Wendell was also awarded the prestigious Bill Strausbaugh Award at the Minnesota Professional Golfers Association Fall Awards Banquet at the Bloomington Sheraton by the Minnesota PGA recognizing him for his day-to-day efforts distinguishing himself in mentoring his fellow Professionals and Section over the years.
