WP Golf Institute at Willow Creek Golf Course
I. The Facility:
Willow Creek Golf Course is home to an 18-hole championship golf course as well as Little Willow, a 9-hole executive course. It's located in southwest Rochester, Minnesota 2 miles north of the Rochester international airport and 5 miles from downtown. The practice facility hosts a 300 yard driving range with 2 grass tee boxes, 2 putting greens, 1 practice bunker, and 1 short game area. Willow Creek also has a fully operational clubhouse with restaurant, bar, and golf shop. The WP Golf Institute offers private lessons, clinics, golf schools, and junior golf programs through out the year at its facility.
II. Private Lessons:
Eighteen years as a PGA Professional, Scott Rindahl (see bio) is the head professional and primary instructor at Willow Creek. Scott uses video, teaching aids, and the latest instructional techniques from the WP Golf Institute. If you're looking for a great way to improve your game the private lesson is your quickest path. The interview process, physical evaluation, goal setting, mental approach, and digital video analysis are all parts of the private lesson. Many students leave with a game plan on how to improve the shot worked on and a cd video of their swing. Check the different types of lessons below to fit your need:
• Private 1:1 one-half hr. $35.00
• Private 1:1 one hr. $70.00
• Series of 3 one hr. or 6 half hr. lessons $200.00
• Group lessons 2-4 students 1 hr. $100.00
III. Junior Golf:
Junior golf is a very important part of the Institute. Not just because we enjoy working with juniors, but also because they are the future of the Institute! Our goal is to create an atmosphere of learning and playing for fun and if desired, competing. In addition to enjoying the game, the future amateur or professional may very well come out of the Institute.
